Our Wedding Carriage is an authentic Victoria Carriage, built in 1890. It is spacious enough to carry four people comfortably. With its plush upholstered interior it’s the ideal choice for the bride and groom, bridesmaid and pageboy. It features an invaluable retractable waterproof hood which can offer some protection against our unpredictable weather. Our Sark Wedding Carriage is tailored to individual requirements offering exceptional customer satisfaction and affordability. Our very satisfied customers have appreciated our commitment to quality, reliability and attention to detail when arranging a wedding. For your wedding, the horse that we normally use is called Elvis, chosen because of his good looks and reliability.

Weddings can take place anywhere on Sark using either religious or civil ceremonies. Pick your favourite spot! La Seigneurie Estate has at least three wonderful locations for ceremonies. Our Chapel is a delightful atmospheric building suitable for small weddings.
We welcome all those who would like to be married or have their children Baptised or Christened at St Peters Church. Marriages may take place in either church or, unlike the UK, at any venue, beach or clifftop on the beautiful island

If its on top of the island and you don’t live here maybe you need to know who the land owner is so you can apply for their permission to marry on their land.
For civil wedding services at a location of your choice you will need to contact the Sark Greffier by email greffier@sarkgov.co.uk or Tel: 01481 832012 Public Opening Times: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 2.30pm to 4pm to discuss with a Deputy Registrar the locations where and when they are prepared to conduct marriage ceremonies. If you wish to proceed with the marriage a booking will be made by the Deputy Registrar in Sark for the time and date specified. You would need to book the venue separately with the owner of the property. Alternatively you can contact an authorised local Civil Celebrant.
